# Mission

# Our thesis
AI lets anyone build almost anything, alone, in private. That creates two new failure modes, and we exist to fight both:
1. **Loneliness.** Founders talk to agents all day and stop talking to real people.
2. **Overbuilding.** Agents can build so much that founders build way too much before ever validating the direction.

Now that we can build everything, the only thing that matters is not building the wrong thing. Agents can talk to users and gather feedback; what humans must own is staying connected, building relationships, and trusting real feedback over our own opinions.

# The reality
Plans are cheap to write and rewrite with agents, and a plan never gives honest feedback. The old trap was asking people you know about a plan you wrote; their incentive is to like it. The new loop is plan, product, feedback, in real time. What matters is honest feedback on a real product: how people actually use it, and whether it has the magic spark. Make that loop real time, and never be afraid to throw things out, start over, and rebuild until we find the thing, instead of iterating on something people don't really want.

# Goose's core
Keep every idea, project, and team of people and agents moving forward. Be the ultimate clarifier.

# The one thing we always do
Build a simpler version and get feedback, on the product and the positioning. Prototypes over plans. Iterative progress every week.

# How we build: proven, better, new (Mark Pincus)
Start from what people already do and want. Make it clearly better. Add one new thing.
